Critical thinking is about more than just thinking hard; it's about thinking smart. It's looking at things from different angles, questioning what we're told, and not just accepting things at face value. In today's world, it's essential to learn to think critically, especially with the constant barrage of media messages.

By understanding the root of these messages, we can see clearly and create strategies to combat false narratives.

CRITICAL THINKING

Unlocking The Power of Critical Thinking

1. Ask Questions: Don't be afraid to challenge the status quo. Ask why things are the way they are and who benefits from keeping things that way.

2. Listen to Different Voices: Don’t be afraid of perspectives and opinions that may differ from yours. Collect the data and think analytically. Does it make sense? Am I letting my emotions interfere with how I am viewing results and responses?

3. Trust The Holy Spirit: We've been blessed with discernment and God-given intuition, so trust it! The Holy Spirit is our Devine partner living within us and we can access His Devine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding daily. Actively invite Holy Spirit in every aspect of our thinking knowing that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. (Heavenly Perspective: Isaish 55:9)

4. Do Your Research: Don't just take things at face value. Dig deeper, fact-check, and verify. The truth is out there, but sometimes you have to work to find it. We must be able to collect data, assess facts and truth, understanding that fact does not equal truth.

5. Stay Open-Minded: It's easy to get stuck in our ways, but true growth comes from being open to new ideas and perspectives. Stay curious and never stop learning. Don’t develop tunnel vision.
